| Addressing Diversity and Health Disparities in Promoting Health and Wellness Addressing the intersections of health, mental health, and wellness requires attention to both, cultural perspectives on each of these concepts, and the structural barriers to equitable services to culturally diverse populations. A holistic conceptualization of "health" and the integration of health and mental health service delivery may contribute to the reduction of health and mental health disparities. Join the dialogue around these issues and the potential promise of using a public health approach to mental health service delivery. - Vivian Jackson, PhD, LICSW, Senior Policy Associate, National Center for Cultural Competence and the National Technical Assistance Center for Children's Mental Health, Georgetown University Center for Child and Human Development
